The wind turbines have active control of the pitch angle of the blades and variable rotation of the rotor, with a synchronous generator of permanent magnets and directly coupled to the rotor, without the need for a speed multiplier. All the functions of the wind turbines are monitored and controlled by a control unit, based on microprocessors installed on the turbine control and control panel.
