The GEMÜ membrane code 5E consists of a PTFE shield and a peroxide-linked EPDM back, which can be flexibly combined with one another. The PTFE used is a chemically modified second generation PTFE, the so-called TFM ™. The two-part membrane combines all the advantages of PTFE and the flexibility of an elastomer membrane in one product. In order to optimize the overall system, both the PTFE shield and the membrane back are compounded for GEMÜ and manufactured within the GEMÜ Group.

  • EPDM back reinforced with fabric

  • Insensitive even at higher temperatures

  • High chemical resistance thanks to the PTFE shield

  • Easy assembly thanks to the sintered-in thread pin
