Aerodynamic optimization of conventional rotor blades to increase the yield of wind turbines:
• Robust sandwich construction made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) for low weight and maximum durability
• On-site assembly on the hanging rotor blade using a rope hanging platform
• Strengthening the structure of the rotor blade in the rotor plane
• Reduction of the turbulence intensity
• Increase of the rotor torque and the yield by approx. 5 - 6%
