M-series high-pressure stage casing pumps have a modular design. This allows Sulzer to find the most efficient solution to meet customer requirements, typically for feedwater pumps and condensate extraction pumps in gas-fired combined-cycle power plants, among other applications. Both investment cost and life cycle costs are taken into consideration when designing the optimal pump, and an optimized hydraulic design guarantees maximum efficiency. The MC pump is primarily designed for power applications, such as: auxiliary boiler feed services; Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) abatement and fuel injection in combined-cycle power plants; boiler feed for biomass fired and industrial power plant; and steam generator feed in concentrated solar power plants.
