GE Frame 7 Gas Turbine (60 Hz) 7F.04 (7FA)
GE introduced the world to F-class gas turbine technology in 1989. GE powers the globe with approximately 900 installed 7F gas turbines producing ~150GW of power in 12 countries. The F-class features 99 percent reliability, and an 11-minute fast start enables increased revenue and dispatchability during peak demand. F-class gas turbines were the first to achieve 50 million operating hours, 1 million starts, single-digit NOx emissions, a firing temperature greater than 2,400˚F, and operation with Arabian Super Light (ASL) as a fuel.
The 7F.04 features an enhanced compressor and hot gas path cooling and sealing technologies, improving both performance and durability.
Building on a 25-year legacy of F-class operation, the 7F.04 supports a broad range of applications, and offers the widest fuel flexibility in its class.
Only turbine in its class to burn Arabian Super Light, 15% C2, +20/-10 percent Modified Wobbe Index (MWI), 5 percent hydrogen.
