Menzel was commissioned by a german plastics manufacturer for the supply of a DC motor with extensive specifications. The motor had to be dimensionally and electrically interchangeable with an existing motor which did not work reliably. After successful commissioning, Menzel was allowed to manufacture a second identical motor.
