Associated with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) experts in Technical Support Program (TSP), in providing consultancy to 20+ Auto parts Manufacturing industry, & building my capacity in setting & monitoring the key performance indicators & technical issues regarding quality & productivity enhancement under the supervision of JICA experts. My responsibilities include: • Outreach to potential and existing cluster/sectoral member companies. • Undertake industry analytical activities, to identify challenge areas regarding productivity & quality. • Liaise with other key relevant government organizations where necessary, to acquire necessary support for the cluster/sector. • Support the management to develop and if approved, implement projects in member companies and engage donor agencies like JICA, etc. • Keeping the strong coordination between experts & relevant stake holders to transfer information & queries and maintaining the project documentation up to date by collecting data from beneficiary industries. • To ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) development, compliance change control. • Addressing the on-site technical issues of quality related to sheet metal press, machining, casting, forging, painting, surface treatment & welding, Rubber & plastic molding etc. • Introduced Japanese Improvement tools Like 5S/5T, 4M Change point, Standard work process planning), Lean Manufacturing, Process fool proofing for plant improvement. • Collaborating with the industry personnel for Enhancing the Productivity on assembly line by line balancing tool & Standardization in manual work. • Review of internal QMS system of a company to identify gaps and to drive continuous improvement as per new standard requirements. • To lead cross-departmental team regarding Risk Assessment of production and inventory departments.
