I am Professional Survey Engineer with hands on experience using different software, worked on different survey projects with 10 years of experience in engineering and consulting works. In 2011 I joined Kenana Engineering and Technical Services (KETS), seconded to the White Nile Sugar Project as survey engineer. Currently, I’m a senior geo-informatics engineer at KETS leading the daily operations as well as handling the GIS and Remote Sensing activities in some long term projects, gained international experience in surveying by handling multiple projects in Ethiopia & Nigeria where Currently, I’m seconded to one of their projects, Savannah Sugar company extension project as a senior GIS Engineer. During my career I have provided some GIS technical support to different clients in Sudan and within the region, including: White Nile Sugar Company in Sudan, Sabina Sugar Company in Sudan, Dangote Sugar Refinery in Nigeria, Ethiopian Sugar Corporation in Ethiopia, knowledge Enterprise Management (KEPM)in UAE and some private sectors in Guinea Conacry. I have earned M. Sc. in Survey Engineering (2017), University of Sudan for science and Technology - College of Graduate Studies, Sudan.

The WNSC, about 150 km south of Khartoum, was established in 2007 with a capital of about $470 million. It began commercial production in 2012, and aims to produce 450,000 tonnes of sugar annually. The project consists of a sugar refinery, an ethanol plant, a feed plant, and a cane farm, covering an area of 125,000 feddan (525 km²). The project aims to produce a number of cash crops for export such as sesame, sunflower, corn, yellow, and the construction of factory fodder to improve animal production in the region and take advantage of the remnants of the sugar industry, through a number of complementary industries such as yeast, ethanol and compressed wood, and the widening circle of targets to include the provision of opportunities additional work in the professions all the citizens of the region, and development of agricultural, economically and socially, through the achievement of the mobility of trade and stimulate Dorhalaguetsad All, and based those goals to achieve the payoff to shareholders until the project is a model and an incentive to attract more contributions from the private sector and foreign investment to enter into projects other development in the region to increase support the position of Sudan in the field of sugar industry to assume a leading position in the field of trade and the sugar industry, in global markets, according to the Quarter-Century strategy.
