I have enjoyed a career that spans 30 years in the Oil and Gas industry with a background in Supply Management (EPC Procurement), Business Development and Sales Management. My early exposure and connection to our industry started while working for a maintenance contractor at the Benicia, CA Exxon Refinery (now owned and operated by Valero). I held hands-on roles as a pipefitter and then later as a millwright. I worked in this capex construction environment for ~5 years and the experience was and still is a heavy influencer around my passion for our industry. After my time in the trades I moved on to roles that included Department Manager of Material Control, Expediting, Heavy Haul Logistics as well as roles in Procurement management at JACOBS ENGINEERING GROUP; and Worldwide Sales Manager, Business Manager, National Product Manager (US and Canada), and Regional Sales Manager at ILLINOIS TOOL WORKS (ITW). As mentioned above I also held roles in sales and marketing as well as operations at multiple manufacturing locations for ILLINOIS TOOL WORKS (ITW) Chockfast Epoxy Grouting Systems. My responsibilities included: providing sales management for 70+ Distributors and Sub-Distributors in 36 countries, 8 direct-hire Regional Sales Managers, and 6 Sales Managers Worldwide. I was responsible for strategic planning and new business development of all business line segments. I presented detailed training seminars and sales presentations to the design and engineering community in the United States, Canada, Europe, Middle East and Asia as well as facility owners in those same regions. Currently I am the Senior Manager Gulf Coast Sales for Bill Spitzer and Associates. My roles and responsibilities include managing key account sales/field service with EPC clients, end-user/Client Owner as well as OEM end-users and am expert in the field of rotating equipment grouting.
