Blue Blade Steel

Spring steel producer of coiled strip steel and custom manufacturer of heat treated, or hardened and tempered or pre-tempered, high-carbon (including C1050, C1055, C1060, C1065, C1070, C1075, C1080, C1085, C1095), alloy (including, but not limited to 6150, 5160, 4130, 4140, 10B38), and stainless (including 410, 420 and other martensitic grades) strip steel. Scaleless blue, blue polished, bright polished, and a variety of other colors are available. Custom hardness requirements available. Typical hardness ranges are C40-48, C48-51 or as low as C30. Common uses include appliance, automotive, textile parts, springs and spring clips, washers, hand tools, a variety of heavy duty blades. Capabilities include ribbon wound and oscillated coiling, edging with variety of custom profile shapes, custom packaging, metallographic evaluations and diagnostics, steel hardening and oxide-free, all in a lead free process. U.S. made, DFARS & ROHS compliant steel available.
